Hughes Federal Credit Union College Scholarship Program
Eligibility:
                  Must be a member of Hughes Federal Credit Union.
                  Must be a high school senior.
Requirements: Write an essay or produce a video commercial. See website for more details!
Amount: $1,000-$3,000
Due Date: 03/4/18

College Success Arizona Scholarship Program
Eligibility:
                  Plan to obtain a bachelor’s degree within 4 years; beginning your education at a community college for the first 2 years is an option.
                  Be a graduate of an Arizona high school and entering college or university as a first-time enrollee
                  Must meet the criteria to receive Federal Student Aid, be Pell Grant eligible, and able to demonstrate significant financial need as reported on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
                  Demonstrate high potential and motivation to succeed in college
                  Add the Metropolitan Education Foundation to your application when asked which college partner you are a member.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund – General Scholarship
Eligibility:
                  Must be of Hispanic Heritage
                  Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for High School Students
                  Plan to enroll Full-Time in an accredited not-for -profit 4 year university the FALL of scholarship cycle year
                  U.S. Citizen, Permanent Legal Resident, DACA or Eligibile Non-Citizen (as defined by FAFSA)
                  Complete FAFSA
                  Complete state Dream Act financial aid application (if applicable)
Requirements: Application, essay, recommendations, and transcripts. Candidates are selected on the basis of academic achievement, personal strengths, leadership, and financial need.
Amount: $500 - $5,000

AcademicWorks - Pima Community College Foundation Scholarships
Eligibility: Seniors planning on attending Pima Community College Fall 2018.
Requirements: Sign into your MyPima account. Complete on-line application and mail transcripts. The application will match you with up to 20 available scholarships based on your information.

Eligibility: 10th-12th graders, college students and non-traditional students
Requirements: Committed to going to school and can express your goals for getting a higher education
Amount: up to $1,000

Annual Signet Classic Scholarship Essay Contest
Eligibility: High school juniors and seniors
Requirements: Application – Essay based on Harriet Jacobs "Incidents of the Life of a Slave Girl". See website for details.

Northern Arizona University Scholarships

NAU Scholarships - Lumberjack Scholars Award, Merit Tuition Award, Deans Tuition Award, Presidents Tuition Award, and President's International Baccalaureate (IB) Scholarship
Must complete the admissions application and submit ACT or SAT test scores by May 1, 2018.

University of Arizona Scholarships
Note: UA Applications and FAFSA should be completed ASAP. You do not need to have taken the SAT or ACT before applying but you must take one or the other before May 1, 2018.

Resident Awards:
Awards listed above are the minimums based on test scores and core GPA. GPA calculated is based on 6th semester core unweighted high school GPA (4.0 scale). To be eligible, students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and be classified as an Arizona resident for tuition purposes.
·         Students must complete the UA Fall 2018 admission application by May 1, 2018 in order to be considered.
·         Students should submit an official ACT or SAT score from the testing agency for consideration.
·         Students interested in a higher scholarship opportunity must submit SAT (Math + Verbal) or ACT test scores by May 1, 2018 to be considered for our top Wildcat Excellence Award.
·         Students are automatically awarded the higher dollar value Wildcat Excellence award in which they qualify to receive, which replaces the lower award offer.
·         Students must submit their official 8th semester transcript for verification.

#Abbott and Fenner Business Consultants Scholarship
Eligibility: Juniors and Seniors planning on attending college. No citizenship or GPA requirement.
Requirement: Complete and submit essay on career and life goals per instructions on website.
Amount: $1000
Due Date: 6/14/18

#Wells Fargo CollegeSTEPS™ Sweepstakes
Eligibility: All students who are enrolled in good standing in any high school grade (separate program for current college students – see website), are at least 14 years of age and who are legal residents of the US. No GPA requirement.
Requirements: Students must enroll in Wells Fargo CollegeSTEPS™ program. To sign up go to www.wellsfargo.com/collegesteps and fully complete the “Enrollment Form.” You will automatically receive one Sweepstakes entry when you enroll. Please note: There is no purchase necessary!
Amount: Up to $5,000
Due Date: Drawings held throughout the year. Program ends 6/30/18

Aspiring Nurse Scholarship
Eligibility: This scholarship is open to all high school seniors who plan to pursue college education in nursing, including LPN / LVN, ADN, and BSN programs.
Amount: $1,000
Due Date: 8/31/18

Horatio Alger National Career & Technical Scholarship Program
Eligibility:
·         Have completed high school (or earned a GED)
·         Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a career or technical program at an accredited non-profit post-secondary institution in the United States
·         Demonstrated critical financial need (must be eligible to receive the Federal Pell grant as determined by completion of the FAFSA)
·         Demonstrated perseverance in overcoming adversity
·         Be under the age of 30
·         Be a United States citizen

Application: Opens March 15, 2018 for High School Seniors

Deadline: The application will be open with a rolling deadline until all awards have been given out.

Kids’ Chance of Arizona provides college scholarships to the children of Arizona’s injured workers.
Our mission is to fulfill the dreams of many children who cannot reach their potential without help. A compensable on-the-job accident is devastating not only to the individual employee but to the employee’s children.

The Lupus Foundation of Southern Arizona Limited Scholarship Program offers Lupus patients or those financially impacted by Lupus to continue a higher level of education.
