Arizona Earn to Learn Program 
Eligibility: Students in the Class of 2017 interested in attending UA, NAU or ASU for the fall 2017 semester or going to Pima Community College and planning to transfer to UA, NAU or ASU. If under the age of 18, a parent or guardian and the participant must complete separate applications to be submitted together. Be an Arizona resident and have lived here for 3 months prior to applying. Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen. Have a social security or federal tax identification number. 
Note: Go to website to take a quick eligibility quiz. Many students will qualify! Requirements: Enrollment in the program requires students and/or families to establish savings accounts and deposit up to $500 to receive a matching deposit of an additional $4,000 from the program. See website for full requirements and information.

STARS - Pima Community College Foundation Scholarships 
Eligibility: Seniors planning on attending Pima Community College Fall 2016 and current Pima students continuing in the fall. 
Requirements: Complete on-line application and mail transcripts. The application will match you with up to 20 available scholarships based on your information Amount: Varies by scholarship

SCW Academic Scholarship 
Eligibility: Applicant must be a high school senior or recent graduate seeking a degree. Must have a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0. No citizenship requirement. 
Requirements: Complete online application. Although not required, applicants are encouraged to submit recommendation letters and/or resumes to substantiate their application. Applicant will be required to demonstrate both their merit and their need for this scholarship. 
Amount: $2500

SCW DREAMers Scholarship 
Eligibilty: Immigrant under the age of 25, entered the United States before age 16, have lived continuously in the country for at least five years, have not been convicted of a felony, a “significant” misdemeanor, or three other misdemeanors. Applicant must plan to attend college by fall semester 2016. Must have a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0. No citizenship requirement. 
Requirements: Complete online application. A transcript must be attached to application for consideration. Applicant must submit an un-opened copy of official transcripts if selected as a finalist. Although not required, applicants are encouraged to submit recommendation letters and/or resumes to substantiate their application. Applicant will be required to demonstrate both their merit and their need for this scholarship. 
Amount: $2500

Abbott and Fenner Business Consultants Scholarship 
Eligibility: Juniors and Seniors planning on attending college. No citizenship or GPA requirement. 
Requirement: Complete and submit essay on career and life goals per instructions on website.

Rotary Club of Tucson Scholarship Program 2016-17 
Subject: Applications for 2016 Graduating Seniors 

The Rotary Club of Tucson, in compliance with its long standing tradition, is again soliciting applications from Tucson area graduating Seniors to compete for potential multi-year scholarships. We will award several Freshman-year scholarships for University of Arizona or Pima Community College bound students entering in the Fall 2016 school year. The scholarships will pay $1000/semester at the U of A or $400 per semester at Pima College. 

The following is our criteria: 

1. Finishing in the top 1/3 of their graduating class; 
2. Financial need, based upon a completed FAFSA statement submitted to U of A or Pima; 
3. Complete our Application, which includes a brief 500 word essay on a Rotary subject; 
4. Participation in school-related extracurricular activities; 
5. Participation in community service; 
6. Possible interview with the Club Scholarship Committee; Our scholarship program also allows for continuing years of scholarships – up to 4 years total - if each student maintains a 2.5 GPA and meets our citizenship and Rotary participation requirements. 

For your information, a high percentage of our students who have received Freshman year scholarships in the last several years have taken advantage of our offer of continuing scholarships. We have placed a copy of our application form on the University of Arizona Financial Aid website and the Pima College scholarship website. The U of A’s website is: https://scholarshipuniverse.arizona.edu. The Pima College website is www.pima.edu/scholarships. Our schedule dictates that we receive the completed application packages back from the students by Friday, 10 June 2016 to allow time for evaluation and selection. 

Healthcare Scholarship Program 2016 
Eligibility: 
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of disbursement.
  • Applicants must be US citizens.
  • Applicants must be in full time education at the time that the scholarship is awarded. 

Requirements: 
  • Applicants must write and submit an essay in English of between 750 and 1000 words on the topic “Why I Want Pursue a Career in the Healthcare Field”. 
  • Applicants must submit an essay that is original and entirely their own work. Any essay that contains plagiarized content or false information will be automatically disqualified. 

Amount: $500

Wells Fargo CollegeSTEPS™ Sweepstakes 
Eligibility: All students who are enrolled in good standing in any high school grade (separate program for current college students – see website), are at least 14 years of age and who are legal residents of the US. No GPA requirement. 
Requirements: Students must enroll in Wells Fargo CollegeSTEPS™ program. To sign up go to www.wellsfargo.com/collegesteps and fully complete the “Enrollment Form.” You will automatically receive one Sweepstakes entry when you enroll. Please note: There is no purchase necessary! 
Amount: Up to $5,000

The Persons in or Affected by Recovery Scholarship was created to acknowledge the powerful journey that accompanies addiction recovery. As somebody who is personally in recovery, I wanted to make this scholarship available to help those who are working to help themselves.

The Persons in or Affected by Recovery Scholarship is open to all qualifying students enrolled in a 2-year, 4-year, graduate level or certification program. Andy Green Law will award one $1,000 scholarship to the student who writes the best response to the following question:

Explain your road to recovery (or a loved one's road to recovery), and how it has impacted your desire to pursue your future goals.

All entries must be a minimum of 500 and maximum of 1000 words. Diagrams, schematics, illustrations and photographs may be included as supporting documents.

AES Engineers Scholarship 
Eligibility: This award is available to high school seniors and all students attending a post secondary educational facility. 
Requirements: Our belief is that achieving a high grade point average should not be the only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped. For that reason we are offering a scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by evaluated the essays that are submitted. 
Amount: $500

ROTC Scholarships 
Note: The college or university you are attending must have an ROTC program for you to be able to participate. See each website for further information. Each of these scholarships requires a large amount of work on your part. It is advised that you seek the help of a counselor or other qualified adult in completing the requirements and possibly start as early as your junior year! These scholarships are closed for seniors entering college fall 2016 but juniors should start qualifying now!
