STARS - Pima Community College Foundation Scholarships
Eligibility: Seniors planning on attending Pima

University of Arizona Scholarships
Note: UA Applications (seniors should apply NOW!) and
FAFSA forms (available 10/1/16) must be completed and submitted no later
than March 1, 2017 to receive priority financial aid and scholarship
consideration. You do not need to have taken the SAT or ACT before applying but
you must take one or the other before May 1, 2017.

without test scores! Students must complete the UA Fall 2017 admission application
by May 1, 2017 in order to receive this offer. Students interested in a higher
scholarship opportunity must submit SAT (Math + Verbal) or ACT test scores by
May 1, 2017 to be considered for our top Wildcat Excellence Award. Students are
automatically awarded the higher dollar value Wildcat Excellence award in which
they qualify to receive, which replaces the lower award offer.
Arizona Assurance
Eligibility: Seniors who
are Arizona residents, will enroll at the UA full time for Fall 2016,
have earned
(by the end of junior year) an un-weighted, cumulative high school GPA of
3.0
or higher
in their core classes (on a 4.0 scale), and who have a family income of $42,
400
or less.
Requirements: Complete UA application now!
Complete FAFSA (beginning 10/1/16, but before 3/1/17). You
will be notified of other requirements on your NextSteps. Note: failure to
complete all necessary requirements by specific deadlines will disqualify you
from receiving this award!
Amount: $2,000 tuition award plus a first year on-campus
housing stipend of $7,300
Valley Foundation Scholarship
Eligibility:
Applicant must be a United States citizen.

Applicants can be graduating High School students, students
currently attending college or those returning to college.
·
High School Applicants whose grade point average places them in the
top 5% of their class will not be considered.

Scholarship Program
Eligibility:
• Plan to obtain a bachelor’s degree within 4 years; beginning your
education at a community college for the first 2 years is an option.

school and entering college or university as a first-time enrollee

Federal Student Aid, be Pell Grant eligible, and able to demonstrate

*Community Foundation of Southern Arizona General Scholarships
Eligibility: Students graduating in 2017 from a high
school in Cochise, Pima and Santa Cruz counties, as well as parts of Yuma,
Pinal, Greenlee counties that are south of the Gila River who are planning to
go to a college or university full-time, and have a 2.5 or higher GPA.
Amount: $3,000 for 4-year university, and $1,000 for 2-year college
or vocational school

Scholarship
Eligibility: High school seniors pursuing a
college-level instrumental performance degree, classical voice degree, or
degree in music education. Applicants must be Arizona residents graduating in
2017 and enrolling in a college-level instrumental performance, classical voice
performance, or music education program before December 31, 2017.
Requirements: All things being equal, past involvement
by an Applicant in any of the Arizona Musicfest youth performance programs will
be considered. We encourage all applicants to consider entering the
Arizona Musicfest Young Musicians Competitions that will be held on March 25th
(voice), April 1st (strings, harp & guitar), April 2nd (brass, woodwinds,
percussion and chamber ensembles) and an April 7th submission deadline for the

SCW DREAMers Scholarship
Eligibilty: Immigrant under the age of 25, entered the
United States before age 16, have lived continuously in the country for at
least five years, have not been convicted of a felony, a “significant”
misdemeanor, or three other misdemeanors. Applicant must plan to attend college
by fall semester 2016. Must have a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0. No citizenship
requirement.
Requirements: Complete online application. A transcript
must be attached to application for consideration. Applicant must submit an
un-opened copy of official transcripts if selected as a finalist. Although not
required, applicants are encouraged to submit recommendation letters and/or

Horatio Alger National Career & Technical Scholarship Program
